The Mother-In-Law by Sally Hepworth

The Mother-In-Law by Sally Hepworth

After listening to The Mother-In-Law by Sally Hepworth, I am still reeling a bit. What a wonderfully written story, intricately woven in a relatable story about the delicate dance between Mother and Daughters in law. The story follows Lucy as she meets, marries, and builds a family with Ollie. The story takes a turn when Diana, Ollie’s mother turns up dead. The story runs both currently and in the past, alternating between Diana and Lucy’s point of view. I do not typically like suspense novels or whodunits, but this book was the perfect balance between thrilling and intriguing without scaring me. It is a page turner you won’t want to put down, I know I didn’t!
